FPA’s facilities and equipment are free of charge to producers who have been trained and certified through FPA’s training courses and who are creating non-commercial programming specifically for the station. Any other application is fee-based, with fees used solely to help support Fairfax Public Access and its mission.
FPA does not rent out equipment under any circumstances. However, producers may hire our professional staff for field or studio production services. The only exception is for camera crews that wish to use an empty studio and will bring their own video cameras and lighting. For “empty shell” studio productions such as these, FPA’s grid lighting may be used only with an addition of a gaffer on staff.
FPA’s classrooms and conference room may also be rented to those wishing to hold meetings and seminars, subject to availability.
Non-profit organizations may receive a discounted rate. For information on or questions regarding production services, contact the Executive Director.
FPA’s facilities and equipment are primarily for the use of our member producers, therefore outside production services are subject to availability.
